Healthy Brain, Happy Life: Activate Your Brain & Do Everything Better

[FERNDALE] – Sullivan 180 welcomes Dr. Wendy Suzuki as the next presenter in the Take Charge of Your Health speaker’s series. She is the author of Healthy Brain, Happy Life: A Personal Program to Activate Your Brain and Do Everything Better. Dr. Suzuki is a Professor of Neural Science and Psychology in the Center for Neural Science at New York University, an author, storyteller, fitness instructor, and two-time TEDx speaker. In her presentation, Dr. Suzuki will discuss brain health, specifically how to engage your mind and improve your memory, your ability to learn new skills, and function more efficiently. Her recent work has focused on understanding how aerobic exercise can be used to improve learning, memory and higher cognitive abilities.

The presentation is on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in the Events Gallery. After her presentation, Dr. Suzuki will sign copies of her book. The informative and encouraging evening will include healthy refreshments. This event is free, but registration is required.
