[Liberty, NY] Sullivan 180 is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025–2027 Healthier Generation Grants. These grants support schools in their efforts to support health and wellness for students and staff through nutrition, physical activity and social and emotional wellness.

Eldred Central School District and Tri-Valley Central School District were awarded Healthier Generation District Impact Grants in the amount of $20,000 to support initiatives that strengthen student well-being, leadership, and school culture. Tri-Valley will launch the Leader in Me Life-Ready Leadership Curriculum & Credentials program for students in Grades 9–12, with a bridge for Grades 7–8, to develop leadership skills, strengthen student voice, and promote positive academic and personal growth. “We are incredibly proud of the commitment Sullivan County schools have shown to creating healthier learning environments,” said Meaghan Mullally-Gorr, Director of Health & Wellness. “Health and wellness are no longer programs that exist alongside the school day, they have become part of the culture of our schools. The positive impact is evident in the policies, practices, and daily experiences of students and staff. As we launch the 2025–2027 Empowering a Healthier Generation grant cycle, we are excited to support schools as they take their wellness efforts to the next level.” ‍
