Sullivan 180 is strengthening suicide prevention efforts across Sullivan County through participation in the Suicide Prevention Center of New York (SPCNY) Region Leader Meetings. Youth Mental Health Program Manager Mylene Ortiz, Sullivan County's designated Region Leader for the New York State Office of Mental Health, joined prevention professionals from across New York State during meetings held in April and July to share best practices, discuss emerging initiatives, and strengthen local suicide prevention efforts.

Sullivan 180 will welcome nationally recognized chef and school food advocate Chef Ann Cooper for An Evening with Chef Ann Cooper: A Conversation with the Renegade Lunch Lady on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Michael Ritchie Big Barn at The Center for Discovery.

Fallsburg Hope Squad recently participated in a team-building retreat at Frost Valley YMCA on May 26, 2026 as part of their Sullivan 180 2025-27 Healthier Generation Competition Grant.

The Sullivan West Central School District has been awarded the 2026 Sullivan 180 Golden Feather Community Impact Grant in the amount of $125,000 to renovate and improve Lions Field facilities in Jeffersonville. The Town of Thompson has been awarded the 2026 Silver Feather Community Impact Grant in the amount of $100,000 to install new playground equipment for youth of all ages and abilities at Lake Ida Park in Rock Hill.
