Sullivan 180 is celebrating the continued growth of Spartan Clubs across Sullivan County schools as they conclude another inspiring weekend at the 2026 Tri-State New York Spartan Event at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.

Sullivan 180 is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025–2027 Healthier Generation Grants. These grants support schools in their efforts to support health and wellness for students and staff through nutrition, physical activity and social and emotional wellness.

More than 100 students from Eldred, Fallsburg, Sullivan West, Tri-Valley, Sullivan BOCES and the Homestead Collaborative College High School participated in this year’s Sullivan 180 Warrior Teens film series at the Hurleyville Performing Arts Center

Fallsburg Hope Squad recently participated in a team-building retreat at Frost Valley YMCA on May 26, 2026 as part of their Sullivan 180 2025-27 Healthier Generation Competition Grant.

The Sullivan West Central School District has been awarded the 2026 Sullivan 180 Golden Feather Community Impact Grant in the amount of $125,000 to renovate and improve Lions Field facilities in Jeffersonville. The Town of Thompson has been awarded the 2026 Silver Feather Community Impact Grant in the amount of $100,000 to install new playground equipment for youth of all ages and abilities at Lake Ida Park in Rock Hill.

Sullivan 180 announced the latest round of grant awards in its School and Community Beautification Grant Program.

Sullivan 180 announced the first round of 2026 Community Development Grants to support community-driven projects that align with Sullivan 180’s mission to build a healthy community. Grant amounts range up to $5,000 depending on the scope of the project.

Sullivan 180 is recruiting young adults ages 16–20 to apply for paid summer internships.

Sullivan 180 recently attended the 2026 NY Farm to School Summit, joining partners from across New York State to explore strategies that strengthen connections between local farms and schools.

Sullivan 180 and Fallsburg Hope Squad will represent Sullivan County at “Mental Health Matters Day” in connection with the Mental Health Association of New York State in Albany on March 11.

Sullivan 180 will host a Facilitator Training for the CATCH My Breath Youth Vaping Prevention Program on March 13 from 12:30–3:30 PM at the CVI Building in Liberty. This training is open to parents, teachers, community volunteers, youth workers, community health advocates and anyone interested in helping young people steer clear of e-cigarettes.

Sullivan 180 and Sullivan BOCES partnered to host a powerful professional development event focused on building healthier, kinder school communities.

On January 28^th the George L. Cooke Elementary School participated in Chef in the Classroom, an extension of the Catskill Edible Garden Project. 

Sullivan 180 is recruiting interns for the 2026 season. Young adults ages 16–20 are invited to apply for paid summer employment, where they will have the opportunity to work alongside volunteers to help communities, organizations, churches, and schools bring their ideas to life.

Sullivan 180 is seeking proposals from professional photographers to help us build a high-quality, versatile photo library for use in organizational publications, including our website, annual reports, grant materials, social media, presentations, and marketing collateral.
