Introducing the Judges Announced for 2025 Empowering a Healthier Generation Competition

Four Sullivan County schools are gearing up to welcome a panel of esteemed judges as the 2025 Empowering a Healthier Generation Competition concludes. This competition is part of Sullivan 180’s countywide school wellness initiative; and celebrates student and staff efforts to make health and wellness a central part of school and community life. Awards will be announced at the Empowering a Healthier Generation Celebration at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on September 24, 2025.

Community Impact Grants Awarded to Neversink & Wurtsboro

The Town of Neversink has been awarded the 2025 Sullivan 180 Golden Feather Community Impact Grant to renovate and improve the popular seasonal ice rink at the Grahamsville Fairgrounds.

The Village of Wurtsboro has been awarded the  2025 Silver Feather Community Impact Grant in the amount of $75,000 to transform a long-vacant lot into a vibrant pocket park featuring basketball and pickleball courts.
