The 6^th annual International Overdose Awareness Day Vigil will be held on August 31 at 6 p.m. on the lawn of the Sullivan County Courthouse, 414 Broadway, Monticello.

Sullivan 180 is strengthening suicide prevention efforts across Sullivan County through participation in the Suicide Prevention Center of New York (SPCNY) Region Leader Meetings. The Sullivan West Central School District has been awarded the 2026 Sullivan 180 Golden Feather Community Impact Grant in the amount of $125,000 to renovate and improve Lions Field facilities in Jeffersonville. The Town of Thompson has been awarded the 2026 Silver Feather Community Impact Grant in the amount of $100,000 to install new playground equipment for youth of all ages and abilities at Lake Ida Park in Rock Hill.
