Sullivan 180 Strengthens Suicide Prevention Efforts Through Statewide Region Leader Meetings
Sullivan 180 is strengthening suicide prevention efforts across Sullivan County through participation in the Suicide Prevention Center of New York (SPCNY) Region Leader Meetings. Youth Mental Health Program Manager Mylene Ortiz, Sullivan County's designated Region Leader for the New York State Office of Mental Health, joined prevention professionals from across New York State during meetings held in April and July to share best practices, discuss emerging initiatives, and strengthen local suicide prevention efforts.

Community Impact Grants Awarded to Sullivan West School District and the Town of Thompson
The Sullivan West Central School District has been awarded the 2026 Sullivan 180 Golden Feather Community Impact Grant in the amount of $125,000 to renovate and improve Lions Field facilities in Jeffersonville. The Town of Thompson has been awarded the 2026 Silver Feather Community Impact Grant in the amount of $100,000 to install new playground equipment for youth of all ages and abilities at Lake Ida Park in Rock Hill.
