Sullivan 180 and Sullivan BOCES Team Up Tree Planting Demonstration

Join us for this hands-on experience!

[Liberty, NY] Sullivan 180 is pleased to announce an exciting partnership with Sullivan BOCES to host a hands-on tree planting demonstration Thursday, November 7th, from 9am to 11am, at the Sullivan BOCES campus, 52 Ferndale Loomis Rd, Liberty, NY 12754. The program will be held rain or shine.

This hands-on workshop offers a valuable opportunity for participants to learn the environmental and health benefits of trees and the role they plan for a greener future and healthier generation. The workshop is open to school facilities and grounds staff, as well as municipal park and recreation staff.

“We want to engage those who actively contribute to enhancing their local communities and school environments in this demonstration,” said Carmela Hugel, Sullivan 180 Beautification Program Manager.

Participants will:

  • Learn how to plant and care for trees

  • Discover the environmental and health benefits of trees

  • Understand how trees enhance the aesthetics of schools and communities

  • Gain hands-on experience planting trees

  • Meet others who share a passion for environmental sustainability

Let’s work together to grow a greener future—one tree at a time!
