Sullivan 180 Awards 2026 Beautification Grants

‍ ‍Transforming public spaces to build healthy communities throughout Sullivan County.

[LIBERTY, NY] Sullivan 180 announced the latest round of grant awards in its School and Community Beautification Grant Program. These investments support volunteer efforts that go beyond aesthetics to create and care for public spaces that encourage physical activity, foster social connection, and support overall well-being. Public spaces contribute to building healthier, more vibrant communities where residents can live, learn, work, and thrive.

The 2026 Sullivan 180 Beautification Program grant recipients include:

  • Callicoon Business Association, Callicoon Blooms

  • Callicoon Depot, Inc., Callicoon Depot Garden Project

  • Cochecton Volunteer Ambulance Corp., Flagpole Garden Enhancement

  • ENGN CNTR LTD., ENGN Pollinator Garden

  • Livingston Manor Renaissance, Manor – Bloom On!

  • Roscoe O&W Railway Museum, Historic Marker Viewing area & Garden Enhancement

  • Town of Liberty, Town of Liberty Beautification

  • Town of Lumberland Parks & Rec., Lumberland Pride

  • White Sulphur Springs Sullivan First, Seeing Us!

2026 School Beautification Program Grant Recipients:

  • The Center for Discovery, Healing Gardens for Growth & Learning

  • Monticello – Kenneth L. Rutherford, Still We Rise!

  • Sullivan West Central School – Elementary School, Front Entry Landscape Improvement

  • Sullivan West Central School – High School, Beautification of Secondary School Entrance

“Each of these projects reflects the pride and care communities have for the places they share,” said Carmela Hugel, Sullivan 180 Beautification Program Manager. “By enhancing school campuses, parks, community entrance signs, and public gardens, we’re creating spaces that bring people together, encourage healthier lifestyles, and make our communities more vibrant and inviting for everyone.”
