Sullivan 180 Municipal Partnership Grant Recipients Announced

Funding supports care of public spaces, recreation and youth programming

[Liberty, NY] – Sullivan 180 is pleased to announce the 2026 Municipal Partnership Grant recipients. The Municipal Partnership Program offers grants up to $20,000 to local governments for the care of public spaces, creation of youth initiatives and other activities that build healthy communities. Several projects will also have a paid Sullivan 180 intern to support their work.

“The Municipal Partnership Program encourages municipalities to invest in their public spaces while developing strong partnerships with their youth, volunteer groups and community organizations to implement creative and lasting projects,” said Shannon Cilento, Sullivan 180 Director of Community Development and Communications.

The 2026 Municipal Partnership Grants are:

Town of Bethel: Town-wide beautification, installation of interactive play equipment at the Forest Reserve at Smallwood and Kauneonga Lake Gazebo Park; and launch of a new youth soccer program.

Town of Fallsburg: Relocation and expansion of Ingber Park to the Sullivan O&W Rail Trail in South Fallsburg.

Town of Highland: Installation of a new pollinator garden on Route 97 and support for native and annual plantings throughout the Town.

Town of Thompson: Town-wide beautification, installation of a new bus shelter on Route 42, launch of a geocaching program and History While You Hike signage at Town Parks.

Town of Tusten: Town-wide beautification and improvements to the baseball field area at the Tusten Multigenerational Park in Narrowsburg.

Village of Woodridge: Village beautification and installation of a new children’s play area at Krieger Park.
