Walk Through Peace, Love & Lights with Sullivan 180

Bring a new, unwrapped toy and walk for FREE!

[Liberty, NY] – Sullivan 180 is inviting the community to explore Peace, Love & Lights at Bethel Woods up close and personal, out of the car and amidst the magic.

This is the 5th year that Sullivan 180 has partnered with Bethel Woods to encourage walking through the lights as a way of getting out and getting active during the winter months.  The campaign is also paired with a benefit for the Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless and other community organizations.  Walkers who bring a new, unwrapped toy will receive one free admission.

“The holidays can be a financially and emotionally challenging time for families already struggling to make ends meet.  The support provided by Sullivan 180 and the community lets them know that people out there really do care,” said Kathy Kreiter, Director at Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless.

To enhance the experience, four themed nights will add excitement and fun:

  • December 2: Schools are encouraged to showcase their creativity and school spirit.

  • December 9: Kick off the Healthiest Fire Department Challenge with First Responder Night.

  • December 16: Healthcare Night for healthcare professionals to take a well-deserved break and enjoy a walk with colleagues.

  • December 23: Participants are invited to wear their favorite festive Holiday attire and donate toys or hygiene products for one free adult admission.

In addition to collecting toys, a monetary donation will be made for each walker up to 600 walkers who participate.
