Mental Health

Support from the inside out.

Taking care of our mental well-being is just as important as caring for our physical health. Connection, conversation, and small moments of reflection can help reduce stress and strengthen resilience. Clubs can create supportive spaces where members feel comfortable checking in, learning new strategies, and encouraging one another.

Easy Ways to Support Mental Well-Being

Connection & Conversation

  • Start meetings with a simple check-in question

  • Share one thing you are grateful for this week

  • Take a few minutes for open conversation before or after meetings

  • Create a “positive moment” where members share something encouraging

Mindfulness & Stress Relief

  • Begin a meeting with a short breathing exercise

  • Try a guided meditation together

  • Take a quiet walk as a group

  • Practice a short stretching or relaxation routine

Acts of Kindness & Support

  • Write thank-you notes to community members

  • Organize a small act of service for someone in need

  • Check in with someone who may need extra support

  • Create a “kindness challenge” for the month
