Join the Sullivan 180 Merchant Discount Program

Support volunteers and projects to build a healthy Sullivan County.

[LIBERTY, NY] – Sullivan 180, in partnership with the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce, is inviting businesses to join the 2025 Merchant Discount Program. The program offers discounts on supplies, materials, or services to support grant funded projects and volunteer efforts to build a healthier Sullivan County.

Sullivan 180 offers grant opportunities to schools, community groups, and municipalities through programs including Beautification, Catskill Edible Garden Project (CEGP), Community Development, Empowering a Healthier Generation (EHG), the Healthiest Fire Department Challenge, and Municipal Partnership. Grant amounts range depending on the program and scope of the project.

“The Merchant Discount Program is a win-win for our community - businesses support local projects, grant recipients stretch their dollars further, and together, we build a healthier, more beautiful Sullivan County.” said Carmela Hugel, Beautification Program Manager at Sullivan 180.

Businesses can extend the reach of these funds while promoting local spending. Participating businesses set a discount rate on products or services.  These discounts typically range from 10% to 20% and are offered directly to the community and school-based projects.

“The Merchant Discount Program is a fantastic way for local businesses to give back while also benefiting from increased engagement with community projects,” said Ashley Leavitt, President/CEO of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce. “By participating, businesses are not only supporting important initiatives but also strengthening connections with customers who value and appreciate their contributions to Sullivan County.”

All businesses, including Chamber members and non-members, are encouraged to participate. For more information on how to join the program contact Carmela Hugel at 845-295-254-2453 or Carmela@sullivan180.org.
