Walk Through Peace, Love & Lights with Sullivan 180
Bring a new, unwrapped toy and walk for FREE!
[LIBERTY, NY] – Join Sullivan 180 and step into the holiday magic at Peace, Love & Lights Walk-Thru Mondays at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Experience this dazzling light show up close, out of the car, under the stars, and surrounded by community.
Now in its sixth year, Walk-Thru Mondays encourages staying active and connected during the winter months while supporting causes that serve neighbors in need. Each year, the walk benefits the Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless and other community organizations. Walkers who bring a new, unwrapped toy or healthy non-perishable food item will receive free admission, spreading holiday cheer one step at a time.
“The holidays can be a financially and emotionally challenging time for families already struggling to make ends meet. The support provided by Sullivan 180 and the community lets them know that people out there really do care,” said Kathy Kreiter, Director at Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless.
To enhance the experience, four themed nights will add excitement and fun:
December 1 –School Spirit Night: Schools are encouraged to showcase their colors and creativity.
December 8 – First Responder Night: Kick off the Healthiest Fire Department Challenge and celebrate our local heroes.
December 15 – Healthcare Night: Healthcare professionals are invited to unwind and walk with colleagues.
December 22 – Holiday Spirit Night: Dress in your most festive attire and bring a toy or nonperishable food item for one free adult admission.
In addition to collecting toys and food donations, Sullivan 180 will make a monetary donation for every walker, up to 600 participants, to further support local organizations and families this holiday season.
Join Sullivan 180 for Peace, Love & Lights Walk-Thru Mondays this December. Where lights, laughter, and community come together to brighten Sullivan County one degree at a time.
